OC students seek quota, scholarships

KADAPA (AP): Students belonging to other castes (OC) took out a rally from Yerramukkapalle to the Collectorate on Thursday seeking reservations, scholarships and other facilities on par with students of downtrodden sections.
OC Students Union leaders Karunakar Reddy and Venkatasiva Reddy said they were agitating on 12 demands. They submitted a representation to Collector M.T. Krishna Babu and warned of intensifying the stir if the government did not concede their demands.
