Divide and Rule: Dr Rajvir Singh

December 12, 2008

British ruled India for nearly  200 years using the policy of ‘divide and rule’  and finally divided the country  into two parts. British rule succumb to death due to emergence of National leaders during that period.  National Leaders fought for the freedom and finally got it on the cost of partition due to systematic error of divide and rule. National Leadership came into existence as two groups of people came together to fight another ruling group and secondly, there was no existence of today’s Election System. Today’s Election System  is outdated and rotten, produces regional leaders based on caste, crime and religion. Caste, Crime, Region and Religion are inherent systematic error in the present  Election System. Our Election System was prepared long back and has inherited these biases. Every thing in this world changes according to time but this system has not  changed since then. Leaders produced by this system are involved in spreading Casteism, Regionalism, Crime and Religionism in the society, and damaging the country like gangrene in the body.

Researchers in research collect information removing all the systematic errors to produce appropriate results to use. They allocate or collect information according to random process to remove these systematic errors. Even to allocate houses from any society random process is applied to allocate the houses with required eligible criteria.

To run a machine smoothly, time to time overhauling is required. Similarly, to run a country smoothly, three systems (Election, Law and Police) working as pivotal point, should be overhauled time to time. These systems should be framed and modified according to the need of the time. If existing system is not modified according to the need of the time, system gets corrupt and its meaning changes. For example, now COURT stands for: Criminals out under Repeated Trails whereas POLICE stands for: Protect Offenders and Link Innocents to Crime and Evil.

One systematic error, ‘divide and rule’, divided the country into two parts in the past. There are four systematic errors in the existing system which will surely divide the country into sixteen parts. Age, education, criminal record, etc should be taken into consideration to choose any leader. To uplift the country in each and every direction, national leaders, those who think about the country rather than self, are required. This is not possible with the inherent systematic errors of the present system.
