Youth For Equality joins Gandhigiri

On the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti ¶Youth For Equality¶ (YFE) join hands with Shekhar Kapoor and Nandita Das in an effort to bring today’s youth closer to Mahatma Gandhi. YFE in collaboration with The Karadi Tales Company has released an audio book version of Mahatma Gandhi’s Autobiography: ¶The Story Of My Experience With Truth¶ that includes momentous songs and background scores. Best known for his Oscar nominated film ¶Elizabeth¶, film maker and actor Shekhar Kapur is the voice of Gandhi.  Nandita Das provides a splendid narrative that is a backdrop to Gandhi’s life.

YFE has plans to promote this venture among the Youth through its websites, Communities and   groups  from where this audio book can be downloaded. Also  a series of events will be organized across   various Institutes and Universities of higher learning  to promote this programme among the student Community.

We believe, this would be one of the best media to make today’s youth understand  that Peace and Non violence: An Effective tool to achieve equality in society.
