Liars, Cheats & hypocrites
March 7, 2009
Ms Mayawati has been holding brahmin/vaish bhaichara sammelans (as is the brahmin/vaish guys have no work other than promoting caste hate) all over UP. Most political parties have opposed such sammelans claiming that:
– appealing to certain castes separately before the election “goes against the democratic nature of the country¶.
– Such acts will only deepen divides between communities and castes
– “The BSP’s rallies will give rise to caste- and community-based hatred. We condemn them.
– “The BSP should try to focus on development and progress rather than harp back on caste, which will only create further differences in society,¶
All the above pious thoughts did not strike them when they supported caste-based reservations based on micro-caste classsification carried out by the so-called Mandal Commission. All the above pious thoughts did not strike them when the Haryana CM was holding ‘dalit sammelans’.
All the above pious thoughts did not strike them when Mr Advani held SC sammelans all over the country. All the above pious thoughts did not strike them when the communists conducted ‘SC’ sammelans. All the above pious thoughts do not strike them when the allot tickets based on ‘caste’ calculations of the constituency.
Above all, what is the progation of the fabricated and bogus ¶centuries of oppression¶ theory, if not incitement of hatred against a section of the Hindu society?
Some unknown people in unknown times did unknown things to unknown people and a section of the Hindu society is required to now accept blame for something they have nothing to do with and pay a ‘price’ by accepting institutionalised discrimination and denial of opportunities!!!
If it is not hypocrisy, lying and cheating, what else is it?
Opp slams BSP for holding caste-based meets
LUCKNOW, March 3: Opposition parties in Uttar Pradesh said they would approach the Election Commission when it visits Lucknow tomtorrow to take note of the caste-based conventions that UP chief minister Miss Mayawati has been organising here. The Bahujan Samaj Party has been holding rallies broken along caste-lines such as the recently-concluded Brahman Bhaichara Sammelan and other conventions such as the Vaishya convention, to talk about how the BSP would guard the interests of the specific castes if the party were voted to power at the Centre. The Election Commission has already announced that the Lok Sabha election in UP will be held in five phases. Apart from Jammu Kashmir, the election in all other states in the country will be held in fewer phases. Just two days after announcing the election dates, the EC will pay a special two-day visit to UP to take note of the poll preparations in the state. Chief election commissioner Mr N Gopalaswami and election commissioners Mr Naveen Chawla and Mr SY Quereshi will be arriving here tomorrow, official sources said. The election commissioners will hold discussions with top state government officials and is likely to hold a separate meeting with the chief secretary and director general of police, sources said. In the wake of state-wide review, all district magistrates, commissioners, superintendents of police, and deputy inspectors general of police have been summoned to Lucknow.
Opposition parties said that the Miss Mayawati’s way of appealing to certain castes separately before the election “goes against the democratic nature of the country¶. “The rallies the BSP has been holding along caste-lines is in violation of the People’s Representative Act. Such acts will only deepen divides between communities and castes. We will ask the EC to take note of this and take action tomorrow,¶ said Mr Akhilesh Pratap Singh, spokesperson of the UP Congress party. State spokesperson of the Samajwadi Party held the same view and said the SP too would complain to the EC about this. “The BSP’s rallies will give rise to caste- and community-based hatred. We condemn them. We will bring bring this to the notice of the EC,¶ he said. The BJP’s state spokesperson, Mr Hriday Narayan Dixit said that the BSP’s way of appealing to the electorate went against the norms laid down by BR Ambedkar, whose ideology the BSP follows. “The BSP should try to focus on development and progress rather than harp back on caste, which will only create further differences in society,¶ Mr Dixit said.
