Later on the YFE activists were brutally handled by the police. Several members suffered serious injuries and some of them required hospitalization. Susequently, large number of YFE members were arrested and taken away to Tilak Nagar Police Station.
Officer In Charge of Tilak Marg Police Station Dinesh Kumar was his castiest worst.. He ordered his police force to transgress modesty of the girl students. Upper garments of girl students from JNU and from AIIMS were deliberately tore apart by male police. Inspector Dinesh Kumar’s abuse was unfortunate and castiest. He categorically warned Dr. Kumar Harsh, President, RDA, AIIMS that “tum sale unchi jaat walon ko jab tak goli nahin marenge, hamare bacchon ko seat kaise milega¶ means till the moment we are not shooting all you higher castes persons, our children will not get seats.
Youth For Equality demand dismissal of Inspector Dinesh Kumar who has perpetrated the atrocity on the girl students along with the others. Youth For Equality also demands implementation of the Supreme Court order by the Central Government – no quota beyond graduation. With this the unanswered questions posed by the Supreme Court must be answered without any delay.
