City doctors to launch relief operation for Bihar victims

New Delhi: In an attempt to help those affect by the flood in Bihar, Doctors For You is launching a massive flood relief operation with over 1500 specialist doctors and other volunteers in association with Indian Railways and Youth for Equality. Indian Railway is providing the infrastructure support for this relief operation.
   “At present, rescue is the main objective and a team of doctors from Bihar has reached the affected areas. But the main problem will arise after the flood water recedes, as chances of infection, cholera, and other diseases will shoot-up drastically. We are planning to mobilise doctors from various parts of India to be a part of relief operations,¶ said Dr Kumar Harsh, president, Youth for Equality.
